First up 2016 Holden UTE truck deserves all the accolades for pulling it off in the cabin space department. Hopefully there will be no complaints from interested buyers about head room and space for resting shoulders as 2017 model has both in abundance. Few smart additions include open rubber lined tub ahead of the gear lever, two cup holders, decent center cabinet that houses 12 volt power outlet and AUX/USB ports, sufficient number of pockets.
Use of hardy interior plastics on the doors, indicator/ wiper stalks, door tops are pretty much carried over to this 2016 UTE as well. In the list of new additions there is also a pair of new and manually adjusted leather upholstered bucket seats, that provides excellent comfort and support. There is electronic assistance for lumber support.
An Infotainment system continues to be a reliable performer by the virtue of Holden’s Mylink infotainment system which is laden with voice recognition. Eight inch color touchscreen with six-speaker stereo too packs a punch. Equally hard to be ignored will are ultra smooth steering wheels, dual zone climate control dials and wiper stalks.
When compared to other two door coupe available in the market the approximately five meters long Holden UTE is definitely bigger when parked. But it gets thumbs up for its nineteen inch alloy wheels that provide exceptional torque although some screeching sound is audible.
Rear view mirrors are well positioned and has rear viewing camera for assistance and much useful rear parking sensors. More safety could be delivered four piston Brembo brakes but sadly this has been added only for front wheels. Rain sensing wipers are another tweak in the tale.
