The Chevrolet Corvette, also known as the Vette is a luxury sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The first model which was also a convertible was designed in 1953 as a concept car. Originally built-in Flint, Michigan and in St. Louis, Missouri it is now official sports car of Kentucky. 2017 Chevy Corvette sports car uses the 6.2 L supercharged V8 engine, the same as the Chevrolet Z06. It generates a total of 650 HP, spiking it any further could lead to traction control issues. Gears are expected to be a standard seven speed manual or eight shifts automatic. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with top speeds touching 215-220 mph.

2017 Chevy Corvette is expected to be out by end of 2016. Expect price to be around 80,000 dollars. Its nearest competitors, the Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 458 Specially are expected to quote around double its asking price. It faces stiff competition from the Ferrari 458 and the Porsche 911 turbo.
