There have been rumors circulating that GMC will be adding Denali trim to its mid-size pickup Canyon, first time after its introduction in 2015. This has mainly been done because the car manufacturer wants to add a top trim level to its mix. It does make a lot of sense; every other car from GMC has a luxury variant with unique interior features and exterior design. Moreover, the Denali trim is responsible for almost 25% of sales of GMC, which means that the customers really enjoy its distinctive feel and appearance. Such customers will be delighted to know that the rumors about the launch of 2017 GMC Canyon Denali is supposedly true. The wait for this Denali variant is over as it was revealed by GMC ay 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. Just as you would expect, this vehicle will be launching as luxurious truck full of amenities and features. These features are usually unavailable or available as additional options with low trim models. The top trim status is shown off by the chrome grille and extremely bright aluminum grille with Denali badge. A turbo diesel engine is also offered, which provides extra towing capacity of 700 pounds.
2017 GMC Canyon Denali – Design and Styling:
Visual changes brought to exterior of 2017 GMC Canyon Denali are the majority of changes that this trim has to offer. A bright mesh grille coming with red GMC letters is the change which is more obvious than others.
You can also find HID headlights having daytime running LED lights. These lights can be found on the SLT, which is current top trim level. Standard exterior features include fog lights, chrome accents on mirror caps, bumpers, side steps, tow hooks and door handles.
A new set of 20 inch aluminum wheels accompanies chrome accents. As one would suspect, there are no major changes in its body, the hauling and towing capacity of this truck is retained. It is offered in Crew Cab form only and there are 6 color options available
The interior refinement is just as good an aspect of 2017 GMC Canyon Denali as is its great appearance. It now features heated and ventilated perforated leather seats in front, with Denali logo being stitched to the headrests.
Leather and French stitching can also be seen in its dashboard, while updated wooden accents on door panels and center console give it an even more luxurious feel. Technological features include 8 inch touch screen, Android Auto, Apple car Play, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity.

2017 GMC Canyon Denali comes with a 3.6 liter V6 engine as standard while a 2.8 liter turbo diesel unit is optional. The only choice as far as transmission is concerned is 6 speed automatic. The standard 3.6 liter V6 unit generates 305 HP along with 269 lb ft of torque.
Canyon truck will have a combined fuel economy of 20 mpg with 4WD. On the other hand, turbo diesel unit generates 181 HP and 369 lb ft of torque. When equipped with 2WD, it offers 25 mpg of combined fuel economy.
2017 GMC Canyon Denali – Price and Estimate Date of Release:
Even though the price of mid size trucks 2017 GMC Canyon Denali is not yet announced, it is speculated to have a starting price of $41,900. The upcoming truck should release late in 2016.
